Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Grateful Dead Show, Dead Forever, at The Sphere in Las Vegas. This experience was truly transformative, fostering a sense of connection, community, and shared love of music with strangers.
The Grateful Dead's legacy goes beyond their music, embodying a strong sense of camaraderie and unity within their community. Their unconventional approach to money, such as allowing fans to record live shows and promoting a culture of sharing, has not only influenced their music but also shaped their overall ethos.
Upon my return, many have inquired about the cost of my trip. Thanks to my travel hacking skills, I was able to fly for free with Southwest and utilize Citibank points for a complimentary stay at The Mirage. My only expenses were for show tickets, which I purchased during the pre-sale (no inflated pricing) and food. This experience served as a reminder that joy and fulfillment can be found in experiences that don't require a hefty price tag.
I used to believe that certain experiences, especially travel, were too expensive and beyond my reach. However, I've come to realize that with determination and resourcefulness, I can turn my dreams into reality.
